Kurtis Farrow is a shareholder/director and co-founder of Farrow Corporation. He is a Certified Public Accountant ("CPA"), a Certified Fraud Examiner ("CFE") and Certified in Financial Forensics ("CFF"). He has over 25 years of experience assisting corporations, attorneys, insurance adjusters and their clients with a wide range of financial and forensic accounting matters. Prior to forming Farrow Corporation, Mr. Farrow worked with the international accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick, where he concentrated in the litigation consulting services.

Mr. Farrow specializes in the evaluation and measurement of economic damages involving insurance claims, business interruption and litigation. His experience includes the analysis and evaluation of commercial property claims on behalf of large insurance companies With respect to business interruption, Mr. Farrow has handled a number of diverse engagements in various industries such as retail, restaurant, hotel, construction, manufacturing, telecommunications, aerospace, etc.

Mr. Farrow has given expert testimony on behalf of insurers and has assisted during Examinations Under Oath, depositions and provided other litigation services.

Representative engagement experience:

  • Reviewed $46 million business interruption claim (inventory loss at sales value) submitted by an international toy company for damaged inventory, payroll costs, repair costs and professional fees incurred as a result of water damage sustained at its distribution warehouse. Work included quantifying the damaged inventory, analysis of historical sales prices, operating costs and extra expenses. Reviewed the costs claimed by the insured in connection with the clean up and repair of the warehouse. Assisted adjuster in settlement negotiations.

  • Calculated business interruption loss and extra expenses incurred by a major food manufacturer. Work included the analysis of historical and projected sales revenue, operating costs and extra expenses. Issues involved lost production, saved expenses and expediting costs. Assisted adjuster in settlement negotiations.
